The Choreographers Lab is a unique membership-based experience designed exclusively for professional and pre-professional adult dancers who are passionate about creating, collaborating, networking, and growing as artists.
This is a space where dancers can step beyond simply learning choreography and become active contributors to the creative process. Whether your goal is to develop your choreographic voice, expand your professional network, create content, or simply reconnect with your artistry, The Choreographers Lab provides an inspiring environment to do just that.
As Artistic Director and professional choreographer, Diana Castore will be present each week to guide the creative process, provide feedback, assist with choreography development, staging, movement ideas, transitions, and artistic direction.
The goal is to create a supportive environment where dancers feel empowered to take creative risks, explore new ideas, and develop as artists.
Interested in Choreographing?
Members may enter a monthly choreography drawing for the opportunity to teach and share original work with the group.
Prefer to focus on dancing?
That's perfectly fine. There is absolutely no pressure to choreograph. Members can simply attend, dance, collaborate, learn, and create.
What makes us different?
Unlike traditional dance classes, this experience combines training, collaboration, creative development, mentorship, and community.
Each week, members gather to:

Great dancers travel for opportunities that inspire them. Conveniently located in Bayonne, New Jersey, just outside New York City, The Choreographers Lab welcomes dancers from throughout New Jersey, New York, Pennsylvania, Connecticut, and beyond.
